Celebrations, Memories & Souvenirs of The Royal Family

Northamptonshire is proud to have centuries of royal history and as a family, we are keen Royalists. We share our passion of the Monarchy in The Royal Room at Jeyes of Earls Barton.

Established in 2012, for Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, The Royal Room is home to a wonderful exhibition of Royal memorabilia books, photographs, limited edition souvenirs and unusual treasures, art & books with Royal dynasties, past & present.

Our Royal commemorative collection dates to Queen Victoria right through until our late Queen Elizabeth II. The exhibition has been updated to include an interesting display of Prince Charles’s Watercolour artwork and souvenirs from his investiture.

One of our most precious items is a copy of the proclamation of Edward VIII who was proclaimed King but was abdicated before his coronation and King George VI (Queen Elizabeth’s father) was crowned King instead of his brother.

Within the Royal Room, you can immerse yourself amongst commemorative pieces from Queen Elizabeth’s life from childhood, coronations, weddings and jubilees.
