As part of Earls Barton Village Festival we are excited to invite you to a special afternoon celebrating the work of Northamptonshire peasant poet, John Clare.
On Thursday 13th June, join us in The Moongate Garden for an afternoon of drama and poetry.
2.00pm – Drinks on the lawn
2.30pm – Performance by Robin Hillman ‘I Am John Clare’
3.30pm – Poetry readings by Roy Leighton ‘I seek for peace – I care not where ’tis found.
4.30pm – Finish with a Jeyes’s bang! Tastings of our new Jeyes’s Northamptonshire Sauce products.
