Access Statement, Directions and Parking
Introduction
At Jeyes of Earls Barton we try to provide access to all our visitors and are continually striving to improve our services. Due to the age and the layout of our Victorian cottage shops we are limited to offer complete disabled access.
We currently offer :-
Arrival & Parking Facilities
- Designated disabled parking space outside the main entrance and further parking spaces on the village square.
- We are opposite the local bus stop.
Main Entrance & Public areas
- The main entrance and exit has two steps leading to the door. There is one handrail on the left hand-side of the entrance. On request we can provide a ramp and staff are trained and happy to help you.
- The Apothocoffee Shop has an entrance which is wheelchair and buggy friendly leading you through the coffee shop and into the conservatory, garden and Jeylato’s.
- Once inside the gift shop is split onto different levels and is accessible by stairs, there are hand-rails to provide guidance.
- We have toilet and baby changing facilities located by Jeylato’s Ice Cream Bar.
- There is a stair lift available to access The dolly lodge and museums which are located upstairs through the coffee shop.
- Upstairs seating is provided in each room for visitors who may need to take a break during their visit.
